The TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) is a math and reading assessment exam. It is used to determine your competency in these areas for program admission and class placement.
If you do not meet the minimum requirements for your desired program*, you may be placed in another program you qualify for and will be given the opportunity to retake the TABE at the end of the semester.
TABE scores may be transferable from other organizations. In addition, TABE exams for admission at the LIEOC may not be taken more than once within a semester. TABE test scores are valid for one year.
